Carlos Alcaraz, the two-time Wimbledon champion, has withdrawn from the entire grass-court season, including Queen's Club and Wimbledon 2025, due to a right wrist injury sustained at April's Barcelona Open. The 23-year-old Spaniard, who won Wimbledon in 2023 and 2024, stated in a social media post that his recovery is progressing but he is not yet fit to compete. His prolonged absence has also seen him miss the major clay-court tournaments, giving rival Jannik Sinner an opportunity to consolidate dominance on the ATP Tour.
