Caroline Dubois splits from trainer Shane McGuigan ahead of lightweight title defence vs Amelia Moore

Caroline Dubois has parted ways with trainer Shane McGuigan ahead of her WBC and WBO lightweight title defence against Amelia Moore, scheduled for August 29 in Birmingham. McGuigan had worked with Dubois since 2021, guiding her to victories including a title-unifying win over Terri Harper in April. Dubois has expressed frustration at defending her titles rather than pursuing unification against IBF champion Elif Nur Turh.
