Carrick 'hurt' by boos as Man United fall to worst start in 40 years

Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Tottenham at Old Trafford left them with just six points after six Premier League games, their worst start to a season since 1986. United looked set to win after Bryan Mbeumo's opener and Rodrigo Bentancur's red card for headbutting Luke Shaw, but Dominic Solanke equalised in the 92nd minute. Manager Michael Carrick admitted the boos from home fans 'hurt a lot' but said he understood the reaction.
