Carrick named on Manager of the Season shortlist

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick, 44, has been named on the six-man shortlist for the Premier League Manager of the Season award after taking charge of just 15 games. Since replacing Ruben Amorim in January, Carrick has recorded 10 wins and three draws, guiding United back into the Champions League with victories over Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham. United are planning talks with Carrick, whose contract runs until the end of this season, about continuing as head coach in 2026-27.
