Carrick pressure grows, Bournemouth batter United

Manchester United were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday, with goals from Rayan, Marcus Tavernier, and Evanilson securing the win for the away side. Interim manager Michael Carrick left captain Bruno Fernandes out of the starting lineup and did not bring him on as a substitute, following Fernandes' public criticism of the team's tactics after a 4-1 Champions League loss to Como in midweek. The result has intensified scrutiny on Carrick's position as United manager.
