Carroll sees red for 'reckless challenge' in opener

Former Newcastle, Liverpool and England striker Andy Carroll was sent off in the 56th minute for a 'reckless challenge' on Louie Annesley during Dagenham's National League South opener at Dorking. Despite the red card, Dagenham won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Kayden Harrack. Carroll, who is a minority shareholder at the club alongside YouTube star KSI, now serves as an assistant to manager Lee Allinson.
