Interim Manchester United manager Michael Carrick confirmed that Casemiro's departure from the club at the end of the season is final and will not be reversed. The Brazilian midfielder scored a header in the 11th minute — his ninth Premier League goal of the season — in United's 2-1 win against Brentford on Monday, with Benjamin Sesko also scoring before half-time. Casemiro, who has impressed throughout the campaign, had previously announced he would leave in June after four years at Manchester United.
