Celebrini on cover of EA Sports NHL 27, first Sharks player since Nolan in 2001

San Jose Sharks center Macklin Celebrini, 20, has been named the cover athlete for EA Sports NHL 27, becoming the youngest player ever to appear on the game's cover and the first Sharks player since Owen Nolan in 2001. Celebrini set a Sharks record last season with 115 points (45 goals, 70 assists) in 82 games, finishing fourth in NHL scoring, and was a finalist for the Ted Lindsay Award. He also represented Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics, leading the tournament with five goals and earning a silver medal, and was named the IIHF Male Player of the Year for the 2025-26 season.
