Celtics' Joe Mazzulla Reveals Jayson Tatum's Status For Game 7

Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla confirmed on Friday that Jayson Tatum will play in Game 7 against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, despite leaving Game 6 early with an apparent left leg injury. Tatum, who said he was not 'overly concerned' about the injury after Game 6, is averaging 23.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in the first-round 2026 NBA Playoffs series. The injury is to a different leg than the one on which Tatum suffered an Achilles tear last season.
