‘Champions Square’ fan zone launches in Birmingham ahead of European Athletics Championships

Birmingham's Centenary Square will be transformed into 'Champions Square,' a free fan zone running from 13–16 August 2026 to coincide with the European Athletics Championships. The Birmingham 2026 organisers have also launched an open call for artists, creatives, and cultural organisations to participate in a planned cultural programme alongside the event. The four-day festival will combine live sport, entertainment, and culture in the heart of the city.
