Charles Leclerc handed huge Miami GP penalty after battle with Max Verstappen and George Russell
Charles Leclerc was handed a 20-second post-race time penalty at the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix after a series of incidents on the final lap. Leclerc spun and hit the Turn 3 wall, suffering front-left damage including a broken steering arm, which caused him to cut corners and push lapped driver Arvid Lindblad out of the way, as well as make contact with George Russell at the hairpin. The penalty cost Leclerc his sixth-place finish, having already lost a podium to Oscar Piastri due to the spin.
