Chelsea FC Women will make their debut in the World Sevens Football tournament, a seven-a-side competition held at Brentford's Gtech Stadium in London from May 28–30. The event marks the first time the tournament has been staged in London and only the second European edition overall. Chelsea will compete alongside seven other WSL clubs including Aston Villa, Everton, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur, with manager Sonia Bompastor describing it as a final opportunity for fans to see the team before the summer break.
