Chelsea’s 2016-17 Premier League title should be given to Spurs, says Pochettino

Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has called for Chelsea to be stripped of their 2016-17 Premier League title and for it to be awarded to Spurs, who finished second that season under his management. Chelsea were fined £10m by the FA in July and given a suspended two-window transfer ban for financial rule violations during the Roman Abramovich era, and were also separately fined £10.75m by the Premier League in March. Pochettino argues that the title should belong to the team that finished second, given Chelsea's proven breaches of financial regulations.
