Chelsea's Bompastor: WSL too good to get away with squad rotation

Chelsea Women manager Sonia Bompastor has stated she cannot afford to rotate her squad for Women's Super League matches due to the high level of competition, despite the team facing fixtures on multiple fronts. Chelsea have won six of their seven WSL games and recently beat Roma 2-0 in the Champions League, sandwiched around a 3-1 league win over Crystal Palace. Bompastor, comparing the WSL to her former role in France with OL Lyonnais, emphasized that the quality of the league demands consistent selection and efficient recovery between matches.
