Cheltenham Racecourse set to reopen after major revamp

Cheltenham Racecourse is set to reopen on Friday following a major revamp that included upgrading a 600-metre drainage system and redeveloping bars and undercover spaces. Three fixtures scheduled in April and May were cancelled to allow the improvement works to take place after a wet winter caused issues on the track. Clerk of the course Jon Pullin confirmed the track is in good shape and described the project as more significant than what would normally be undertaken during a summer break.
