Chris Woakes: ECB's Cricket For Teachers initiative gets backing from former England bowler

Former England bowler Chris Woakes has backed the ECB's new Cricket For Teachers programme and Secondary Countdown Cricket competition. The initiative aims to reach more than 3,500 teachers and over 1,700 schools, with an ambition to engage more than half of all state secondary schools in England by the end of 2028. The programme represents a significant push by the ECB to grow cricket participation at the grassroots secondary school level.
