Christian Pulisic suffered leg microfracture in USMNT loss to Belgium, will miss several weeks - The Athletic

USMNT forward Christian Pulisic suffered a bone bruise and microfracture of the tibia/fibula during the United States' 4-1 World Cup round-of-16 loss to Belgium on Monday. The injury occurred in the 52nd minute when Pulisic kicked the back of Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans' calf, and he was substituted out in the 59th minute. Pulisic is expected to be sidelined for several weeks but not months, with a projected return in August that could see him available for AC Milan's Serie A opener against Torino on August 23.
