Chwalinska vs. Kartal: Everything to know about the Wuhan final

Maja Chwalinska (No. 16 seed, world No. 22) and Sonay Kartal (world No. 170) are set to meet in the final of the Dongfeng Voyah Wuhan Open on October 17, 2026. Both players are seeking their first WTA 1000 title, with Kartal notably returning to the tour after a six-month injury layoff just two tournaments ago. The match represents a significant achievement for both players, with the lower-ranked Kartal's run being a particularly remarkable comeback story.
