Cirelli, Nelson, Suzuki voted Selke Trophy finalists

Anthony Cirelli (Tampa Bay Lightning), Brock Nelson (Colorado Avalanche), and Nick Suzuki (Montreal Canadiens) have been named the three finalists for the 2025-26 Frank J. Selke Trophy, awarded to the NHL forward who best excels defensively. Cirelli posted a career-high plus-minus of +38 for the second straight season, led the Lightning with 1,075 face-offs and 186:51 of shorthanded ice time, helping Tampa Bay rank third in goals against (229) and secure their ninth consecutive playoff berth. Finalists were determined by ballots submitted by members of the Professional Hockey Writers Association at the end of the regular season.
