City won't sanction cut-price Rodri departure
Manchester City have rejected Barcelona's €45 million offer for midfielder Rodri, with the club valuing him at more than €70 million amid interest from both Barcelona and Real Madrid. City are aware of Rodri's desire to return to Spain but will not sanction a cut-price sale, though club bosses have not ruled out letting him leave to avoid keeping an unhappy player. The 2024 Ballon d'Or winner has one year remaining on his contract and could become a free agent next summer.
