City's Shaw named PFA Women's player of the year
Manchester City forward Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw has been named the PFA Women's Player of the Year for the second time, following a standout 2024-25 season in which she scored 21 WSL goals to claim her third consecutive golden boot. The 29-year-old received the award at the PFA's annual ceremony in Manchester on Tuesday, becoming only the third player to win the honour more than once, after Lucy Bronze and Sam Kirby. Shaw's individual accolades complement a hugely successful season for City, who won both the WSL title and the FA Cup.
