Cobolli: 'I almost cried'
Flavio Cobolli reached his first Grand Slam final at Roland Garros on Friday after opponent and compatriot Matteo Arnaldi withdrew due to illness before their semi-final, which would have been the first all-Italian men's major semi-final. The 24-year-old Italian described feeling simultaneously sad for Arnaldi and happy for himself, as the run also guarantees him a Top 10 ATP ranking for the first time starting Monday. Cobolli's path to the final included wins over 18th seed Learner Tien and fourth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime.
