Coco Gauff Says Personal Experience Behind Dominant Record Against Teenage Rivals

Coco Gauff, currently ranked world No. 3, holds a 19-2 win-loss record against teenage opponents at WTA level, with her only losses coming to Iga Swiatek (Rome 2021) and Victoria Mboko (Montreal 2025). Her most recent win over a teenager came at the 2026 Canadian Open, where she defeated 19-year-old Alina Korneeva 6-3, 6-1. The 22-year-old American is also the only woman since 1990 to reach 20 quarterfinals in hard-court Tier I/WTA-1000 events before turning 23.
