Colby Covington killed his RAF aura with embarrassing loss to Raul Rosas Jr. — ‘He’s supposed to beat Khamzat?’

Colby Covington suffered an embarrassing loss to Raul Rosas Jr., significantly damaging his credibility ahead of a scheduled RAF Abu Dhabi fight against former UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev later in November 2026. The defeat raised serious doubts about Covington's ability to compete with Chimaev, especially after he had previously built momentum by dominating Arman Tsarukyan at RAF 11 in July. The loss has led fans and analysts to question whether Covington is a viable opponent for Chimaev at the upcoming UAE event.
