Former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington has officially notified the UFC of his retirement from active competition, confirmed by multiple sources to MMA Fighting on Monday, May 18, 2026. Covington, who holds a 17-5 record, last competed in December 2024 when he lost via TKO to Joaquin Buckley. The UFC's athlete database now lists Covington as retired, and fighters Mayra Bueno Silva and Brad Riddell have also been removed from the roster.
