Come Ashore Cup again has rugby bringing people together
The Come Ashore Cup is an annual rugby fixture between historic rivals Caithness and Orkney rugby clubs, separated by the Pentland Firth, designed to promote mental well-being awareness. The cup was established following the death by suicide of Caithness player and farmer Alexander Mill in April 2021, along with other tragedies that affected both clubs. The event uses rugby as a vehicle to bring communities together and highlight the importance of mental health.
