At the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland's Melanie Woods won the women's T54 1500m in a Games record time, repeating her performance from Wednesday's original race. Woods led from the start and fended off a final-bend attack from Noemi Alphonse, who finished second, with Eliza Ault-Connell also in the leading group. The race was a rerun of a controversial original event held on Wednesday, in which Woods had also set a Games record.
