Caitlin Rainey, a 23-year-old boxer from Renton, Scotland, secured Scotland's first ever women's boxing medal at a Commonwealth Games by winning her quarter-final in the women's 65kg division at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Rainey defeated Flora Loga of Papua New Guinea, knocking her down three times in the second round. As both losing semi-finalists receive bronze medals, her quarter-final victory guaranteed Scotland a place on the podium.
