Commonwealth Games 2026: England celebrates best boxing total in 40 years

Team England achieved their best Commonwealth Games boxing performance in 40 years at Glasgow 2026, finishing with 10 medals in total. On Finals Day alone, England won four gold medals (Sacha Hickey, Patris Mughalzai, Isaac Okoh, and Damar Thomas) and three silvers (Ruby White, Chantelle Reid, and Dimeji Shittu), with three bronzes already secured by Lauren Mackie, Lucy Kings-Wheatley, and Mary-Kate Smith. The 10-medal haul surpasses England's previous best since the 1986 Commonwealth Games held in Edinburgh.
