Commonwealth Games 2026: Wales golden girls beat England in cycling duel

Welsh cyclists Emma Finucane and Anna Morris claimed gold medals at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, defeating English rivals in two separate events. Finucane secured her second gold in two consecutive nights by winning the team sprint against Sophie Capewell, while Morris beat Josie Knight in the 4,000m individual pursuit final. Morris also finished second in the scratch race shortly after her pursuit victory.
