Commonwealth Games: Katarina Johnson-Thompson named but no Keely Hodgkinson

Katarina Johnson-Thompson has been named in England's 63-athlete squad for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where she will bid for a third consecutive heptathlon title. However, Olympic 800m champion Keely Hodgkinson has been left out of the squad for the competition, which runs from 23 July to 2 August. Hodgkinson had previously withdrawn moments before the 400m final at the UK Athletics Championships in June due to a physical issue.
