UFC star Conor McGregor, 38, underwent successful knee surgery after suffering an ACL and meniscus injury in his right knee during his TKO loss to Max Holloway at UFC 329 in Las Vegas on July 11, a fight stopped after just 69 seconds. McGregor posted an update on Instagram confirming the surgery was a success and that he is now in recovery. The former champion, who has lost three consecutive fights and last won in 2020, says he hopes to return to the Octagon by next summer for his final fight on his current UFC contract.
