Conor McGregor to make long-awaited UFC return in July fight against Max Holloway

UFC CEO Dana White announced on Saturday that Conor McGregor will return to fight Max Holloway in a rematch at UFC 329 on July 11 in Las Vegas. The 37-year-old Irishman has been out of action since breaking his leg in a fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021, and a planned comeback against Michael Chandler in July 2024 was cancelled due to a toe injury. McGregor, who became the first UFC fighter to hold two championship belts simultaneously in 2016, has lost three of his last four UFC fights.
