Conor McGregor to make long-awaited UFC return in July fight against Max Holloway
UFC CEO Dana White announced on Saturday that Conor McGregor, 37, will return to the octagon for a rematch against Max Holloway at UFC 329 on July 11 in Las Vegas. McGregor has not competed since breaking his leg in a July 2021 fight against Dustin Poirier, and a planned comeback against Michael Chandler in July 2024 was scrapped due to a toe injury. The Irishman, who became the first UFC fighter to hold two simultaneous championship belts in 2016, has lost three of his last four UFC bouts.
