Cooper named winner of 2026 Jack Adams Award
Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper has been named the winner of the 2026 Jack Adams Award, voted on by members of the NHL Broadcasters' Association and given to the coach who contributed most to their team's success. Cooper guided the Lightning to a 50-26-6 record and 106 standings points, securing a ninth consecutive playoff berth and the franchise's first 50-win season since 2021-22. He beat out fellow finalists Dan Muse of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Lindy Ruff of the Buffalo Sabres, becoming only the second coach in Lightning history to win the award after John Tortorella in 2004.
