Copa del Rey games postponed after train crash
Twenty-four Copa del Rey first-round matches were postponed by the RFEF as a mark of respect following a fatal train collision in the province of Toledo, Spain on Wednesday morning. The crash involved two high-speed trains — one operated by Renfe and another by private company Iryo — near Urda station on the Madrid-Sevilla line. Regional president Emiliano García-Page confirmed at least 30 people were killed and at least 80 injured, with the death toll warned to potentially rise.
