Corey Seager homers in his return and Higashioka also goes deep as Rangers win 3-2 over Guardians
Corey Seager ended a career-worst 0-for-29 slump with a go-ahead two-run homer in the sixth inning in his return from a 19-game absence due to lower back inflammation, as the Texas Rangers defeated the Cleveland Guardians 3-2 on Friday night. Kyle Higashioka also homered, leading off the sixth inning, to help Texas secure the win. Cleveland's rookie starter Parker Messick (6-2) had retired 15 of the first 16 batters he faced before the Rangers offense broke through.
