Coronado’s Ryan Seggerman wins first-ever ATP tennis title

Coronado native Ryan Seggerman and his doubles partner Patrik Trhac won their first-ever ATP title at a 250-level event in Los Cabos, Mexico, defeating New Zealanders Finn Reynolds and James Watt 7-6 (4), 6-7 (5), 10-8 in the final. Despite winning fewer total points in the match (81 to 88) and facing five break-point chances while creating none themselves, Seggerman and Trhac clinched the title in the decisive third-set tiebreak. The victory earns both players 250 ATP ranking points.
