COTA boss reacts to Verstappen's bump concerns
Ahead of the U.S. Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Max Verstappen warned that the track's bumpy surface has grown 'out of control' and that a medical check-up revealed lower spine damage from racing wear and tear. Reigning world champion Lando Norris supported the concerns, saying he has previously needed headache tablets to cope with the bumpiness at COTA. Circuit boss Bobby Epstein acknowledged one problematic bump at Turn 1 but insisted the rest of the track is 'in really good shape' following resurfacing work carried out this year.
