Craig Richards appointed as Head of Rugby (Academy & Pathways)

St. Helens R.F.C. has appointed Craig Richards as Head of Rugby (Academy & Pathways), tasking him with overseeing player recruitment and development through the club's junior and academy structures. Richards, a former Bradford, Oldham, and Hunslet player, first joined the Saints in 2014 and brings extensive experience in player development. The role aims to continue producing first-team talents in the mould of recent homegrown players such as George Delaney, who made his 100th career appearance last week, and 2025 Betfred Super League Young Player of the Year Harry Robertson.
