Crawford set for Mexico City FP1 outing with Aston Martin

Aston Martin have confirmed that 21-year-old American driver Jak Crawford will drive Lance Stroll's AMR26 during FP1 at the 2026 Mexico City Grand Prix. This will be Crawford's fourth on-track appearance of the 2026 season, having previously driven in Free Practice sessions in Japan, Austria, and Belgium, with a best result of P20 at the Red Bull Ring. The session will fulfil Aston Martin's mandatory rookie practice requirements for the year, and holds personal significance for Crawford as Mexico City was the venue for his FP1 debut in 2025.
