Crow-Armstrong and Swanson homer off an ineffective Senga to power Cubs past Mets 9-6
The Chicago Cubs defeated the New York Mets 9-6 on Tuesday night, with Pete Crow-Armstrong hitting a three-run homer and Dansby Swanson going deep while driving in four runs. Starting pitcher Edward Cabrera was carted off the field in the fifth inning with a left hamstring/adductor strain suffered while stretching to catch a throw at first base. Mets slugger Juan Soto also left the game in the fifth inning due to tightness on the left side of his back.
