Cruz Hewitt honours father Lleyton with iconic celebration: ‘I'm grateful to have him’

Cruz Hewitt, 17, claimed his first ATP Tour victory at the Mubadala DC Open on Tuesday, defeating Marcos Giron to become the youngest match winner in Washington since Kei Nishikori in 2007. After the win, he paid tribute to his father Lleyton Hewitt by recreating the former world No. 1's iconic 'Vicht' celebration. The result moved Cruz up 27 places to 17th in the PIF ATP Live Next Gen Race and made him just the fourth player born in 2008 or later to win a tour-level match.
