Crystal Palace and Everton seal Brennan Johnson-Dwight McNeil swap deal

Crystal Palace and Everton have agreed a straight player swap deal involving Brennan Johnson and Dwight McNeil, with both players signing four-year contracts with an option for a further 12 months. Johnson had joined Crystal Palace from Tottenham in January for £35m, making him the club's record signing at the time, before being surpassed by the £43m arrival of Jørgen Strand Larsen from Wolves. The deal comes six months after McNeil's partner accused Palace of damaging his mental health when they pulled out of a transfer agreement.
