Cycling: Jonas Vingegaard ruled out for rest of season with injury

Two-time Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard, 29, will miss the remainder of the 2024 season due to a broken collarbone suffered on stage 15 of the Tour de France in July. The Visma-Lease a Bike rider crashed when his front wheel slid out on a tight bend, requiring surgery and ruling him out of contention for a third Tour title. Tadej Pogacar went on to win the race in Vingegaard's absence.
