D-Backs Trade Alek Thomas To Dodgers

The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded center fielder Alek Thomas to the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for minor league outfielder Jose Requena, as announced on May 12, 2026. The Dodgers will take on approximately $1.4 million of the roughly $1.9625 million remaining on Thomas' arbitration salary. Thomas, a former top prospect, is reportedly set to be optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City following the deal.
