Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints fined $500,000 apiece by NFL for fights during a joint practice

The NFL fined the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints $500,000 each following a brawl-filled joint practice held Tuesday at the Cowboys' training camp base in Oxnard, California. The league announced the fines on Thursday after reviewing video of the incident, which featured multiple fights including Saints tight end Brock Rechsteiner body-slamming Cowboys safety Jalen Thompson, and Saints center Erik McCoy and Cowboys linebacker Donovan Ezeiruaku exchanging punches. Ezeiruaku was ejected from practice for the second time during camp as a result of the altercation.
