Damian Tinnerello Balances Air Force Service and Boxing

Damian Tinnerello, a 23-year-old boxer and Senior Airman with the New Jersey Air National Guard's 177th Fighter Wing, returned from a 14-month layoff to stop Abdullah 'The Storm' Nagy on June 13 at the Tropicana. Tinnerello scored a knockdown in the first round before referee David Franciosi halted the bout at 2:58 of the second round. The victory improved his professional record to 6-0 with five knockouts in the junior middleweight division.
