Dana White On Salhahuddin Everett, The UFC Staffer Who Earned A UFC Contract on DWCS

At Week 9 of Dana White's Contender Series on October 7, 2026, Salhahuddin Everett — a former UFC security staffer and current assistant to Dana White — earned a UFC contract after knocking out Ozzy Martin in the first round of his welterweight bout. Everett was one of four fighters to receive contracts that night, with all four winners recording first-round finishes. The occasion was notably unique as White had previously admitted he 'would not be unbiased' during Everett's fight, making the post-fight press conference centered around Everett's achievement.
