Daniel Cormier: Islam Makhachev was tired, pushed like never before at UFC 330

At UFC 330 in Philadelphia, Islam Makhachev retained his UFC welterweight title by defeating Ian Machado Garry (17-2 MMA) in a five-round main event at Xfinity Mobile Arena. Makhachev (29-1 MMA) won four of the five rounds but was visibly tested, cut, and marked up by Garry, who successfully resisted being flattened on the ground throughout the fight. Former champion Daniel Cormier noted on his YouTube channel that Makhachev was pushed harder than ever before, describing it as the most seriously challenged he has looked in his UFC career.
